The Student Leadership Seminar explores practical leadership principles and introduces students to the Divine-centered Leadership model, a leadership model based on principles found in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ. During the course of the semester participants learn and apply Divine-centered leadership principles through lessons specifically geared for student leaders taught by Leadership Education, guest speakers from different departments on campus, and by working with a peer mentor and team on an on-campus service project or activity. The class is one credit and is held every Thursday at 11 am. A peer mentor class is also available for those who have served as peer mentors in the Foundations of Leadership Conference or students who have completed the seminar and would like to continue in their leadership training.
